Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 small apple, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a jar or container.
  2. Stir well to mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Fold in the diced apple and maple syrup, if using.
  4. Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats before eating. Add a splash more milk if the consistency is too thick.
