A potent and fruity tiki cocktail featuring multiple types of rum and tropical juices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 ounces light rum
- 1 1/2 ounces gold rum
- 1 ounce dark rum
- 1/2 ounce 151-proof rum
- 1 ounce apricot brandy
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce papaya nectar
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1/2 ounce grenadine
- Absinthe rinse (optional)
- Pineapple slice, for garnish
- Cherry, for garnish
Instructions
- If using, rinse a tall glass with absinthe and discard excess.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Add all ingredients except the 151-proof rum to a shaker with ice.
- Shake well until chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Float the 151-proof rum on top.
- Garnish with a pineapple slice and a cherry.
