Ultimate Easy Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches

Description

Quick and delicious breakfast sandwiches made with flaky croissants.


Ingredients

  • 4 croissants, split horizontally
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place croissant halves on a baking sheet and toast lightly for 3-5 minutes.
  3. While croissants toast, cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  5. Crack eggs into the skillet. Cook until whites are set and yolks are still runny, or to your preference. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Assemble sandwiches: Place two slices of bacon and one slice of cheddar cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  7. Top with a cooked egg.
  8. Place the top half of the croissant over the egg.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute ham or sausage for bacon.
  • Add a slice of tomato or avocado for extra flavor.
  • For a richer flavor, you can melt the cheese on the croissant bottom before adding other ingredients.
