Quick and delicious breakfast sandwiches made with flaky croissants.
Ingredients

- 4 croissants, split horizontally
- 8 slices cooked bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place croissant halves on a baking sheet and toast lightly for 3-5 minutes.
- While croissants toast, cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Crack eggs into the skillet. Cook until whites are set and yolks are still runny, or to your preference. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble sandwiches: Place two slices of bacon and one slice of cheddar cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Top with a cooked egg.
- Place the top half of the croissant over the egg.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute ham or sausage for bacon.
- Add a slice of tomato or avocado for extra flavor.
- For a richer flavor, you can melt the cheese on the croissant bottom before adding other ingredients.
