Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.
  6. Roll each piece into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.
  7. Heat a dry skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  8. Cook each flatbread for 1-2 minutes per side, until lightly browned spots appear.
  9. Remove from heat and keep warm.
