  • 4 star anise
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
  • Orange slices, for garnish
  • Cranberries, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew strong chai tea and let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain out tea leaves.
  2. In a large pot, combine brewed chai tea, apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, and lemon juice.
  3. Add maple syrup if using, cinnamon stick, star anise, and whole cloves.
  4. Heat the mixture gently over medium heat. Do not boil.
  5. Simmer for at least 15-20 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.
  6. Remove from heat. Discard cinnamon stick, star anise, and cloves.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with orange slices and cranberries.
