A warm and spiced apple cider perfect for Thanksgiving gatherings.
Ingredients

- 8 cups apple cider
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice berries
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Combine apple cider, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice berries in a large pot.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and let steep for at least 30 minutes.
- Strain out the spices and orange slices.
- Stir in maple syrup if desired.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For a stronger spice flavor, you can add a few star anise pods.
- Garnish with fresh orange slices or cinnamon sticks.
