Warm and aromatic non-alcoholic mulled apple cider, perfect for Thanksgiving gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice berries
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot or slow cooker.
- Heat over medium heat until simmering, or on low in a slow cooker for 2-3 hours.
- Reduce heat to low and keep warm for serving.
- Strain out the spices and fruit before serving, if desired.
- Serve hot in mugs.
Notes
- For a stronger spice flavor, gently crush the whole spices before adding.
- You can adjust the amount of brown sugar to your sweetness preference.
- Garnish with extra cinnamon sticks or apple slices for presentation.
