- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.75 oz Maple Syrup
- 0.5 oz Orange Liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 dash Allspice Dram (optional)
- Orange Peel or Star Anise for garnish
Instructions
- Combine bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, orange liqueur, and bitters in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice to the shaker.
- Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with an orange peel or a star anise.
Notes
- For a richer maple flavor, use dark robust maple syrup.
- Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of maple syrup.
- If you don’t have Allspice Dram, a tiny pinch of ground allspice can be used.
