- 4 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole cloves
- 2 star anise
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- Optional: Caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Combine apple cider, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and orange slices in a saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain out the spices and orange slices.
- Stir in the bourbon.
- Serve warm, drizzled with caramel sauce if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of bourbon to your preference.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the bourbon.
- Can be made ahead and gently reheated before serving.
