- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 whole star anise
- 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
- Orange slices, for garnish
- Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine cranberry juice, apple cider, orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, sliced ginger, star anise, and whole cloves in a large saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the brown sugar dissolves.
- Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and strain the punch through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the spices.
- Serve warm or chilled.
- Garnish with orange slices and fresh cranberries before serving.
