A refreshing and festive sparkling drink perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups sparkling water
- 1 lime, sliced
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring, until sugar dissolves and cranberries begin to soften, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Mash cranberries slightly with a fork.
- Strain the cranberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing on the solids to extract juice. Discard solids.
- Add sparkling water to the pitcher. Stir gently.
- Pour into glasses filled with ice.
- Garnish with lime slices and mint sprigs.
Notes
- For a less sweet drink, reduce the sugar.
- You can make the cranberry syrup ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Add a splash of vodka or white rum for an alcoholic version.
