Instructions
- Combine brown sugar simple syrup, Angostura bitters, and orange bitters in a mixing glass.
- Add the bourbon or rye whiskey.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice.
- Stir gently for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with a large ice cube.
- Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink and drop it in as garnish.
