- 4 cups pink grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 cup simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water)
- 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
- Grapefruit slices for garnish
Instructions
- Pour the fresh grapefruit juice into ice cube trays and freeze until solid, about 4-6 hours or overnight.
- In a blender, combine the frozen grapefruit juice cubes and simple syrup. Blend until smooth and slushy consistency.
- Divide the grapefruit slush among serving glasses.
- Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda.
- Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and grapefruit slices.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to your taste.
- For an adult version, add a shot of vodka or gin to each glass before topping with sparkling water.
- If you don’t have fresh grapefruit, you can use high-quality bottled grapefruit juice.
