Summer Party Frosé: A 1-Step Blissful Escape

  • Author: cocktailmixguide.com

Description

This frozen rosé, or frosé, is the perfect refreshing drink for a summer party. It’s easy to make and a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750ml) bottle dry rosé wine
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pour the rosé wine into a shallow baking dish or ice cube trays. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until solid.
  2. Once frozen, break the rosé into chunks (if using a baking dish) or remove from ice cube trays.
  3. Combine the frozen rosé chunks, strawberries, sugar (if using), and lemon juice in a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth and slushy. If it’s too thick, add a splash of unfrozen rosé or water to reach desired consistency.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a stronger frosé flavor, you can reduce the amount of strawberries or omit them.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  • Garnish with fresh mint or a strawberry slice for an appealing presentation.
  • Store any leftover frosé in the freezer in an airtight container. It may refreeze solid, so re-blend before serving.
