Ingredients

- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup whiskey or rum
- Sweetened whipped cream, for topping
Instructions
- Combine milk, cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk until smooth and heated through, but do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and whiskey or rum.
- Pour into mugs.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
