  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season them lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 5 to 7 minutes until the skin is golden brown.
  4. While the chicken sears, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, dried ginger, pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs in the skillet. Pour the honey garlic sauce evenly over the chicken.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius).
