Description
A classic refreshing mojito cocktail with fresh mint and lime.
Ingredients

- 10–12 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 lime, cut into 4 wedges
- 2 tablespoons white sugar (or to taste)
- 1 1/2 ounces white rum
- 1/2 cup club soda
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the mint leaves and one lime wedge in a sturdy glass.
- Muddle the mint and lime with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the flavors.
- Add the remaining lime wedges and sugar. Muddle again until the sugar is dissolved.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in the white rum.
- Top with club soda.
- Stir gently.
- Garnish with a lime slice and extra mint sprig if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum.
- Use fresh mint for the best flavor.
