Description
A layered dessert combining pumpkin spice flavors with traditional tiramisu structure.
Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup pumpkin puree, not pie filling
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur or dark rum
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 24 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until just combined.
- Stir the pumpkin puree into the mascarpone mixture until evenly incorporated.
- In a shallow dish, mix the coffee liqueur and cooled coffee.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are moistened but not soaked.
- Arrange a single layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Spread half of the pumpkin mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with a second layer of dipped ladyfingers.
- Top with the remaining pumpkin mascarpone mixture, spreading it smoothly.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top generously with cocoa powder.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the coffee liqueur with 1/4 cup extra coffee and 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.
- You can use instant coffee mixed with hot water for the brewed coffee.
