Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork shoulder, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz dry pressed tofu, cubed
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup water or stock

Instructions

  1. Marinate the pork pieces with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, ginger, and garlic for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry until browned on all sides.
  4. Add the cubed dry pressed tofu to the wok and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the green beans and stir to combine.
  6. Pour in the water or stock. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  7. Cover the wok and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork is tender and the liquid has reduced slightly.
  8. Serve hot.
