Description
A sweet and spicy margarita with pineapple and jalapeño.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 oz tequila blanco
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 0.5 oz lime juice
- 0.5 oz agave nectar
- 2–3 slices fresh jalapeño
- Ice
- Salt or sugar for rim (optional)
- Pineapple wedge and jalapeño slice for garnish
Instructions
- If desired, rim a glass with salt or sugar.
- Add jalapeño slices to a cocktail shaker and gently muddle them.
- Add tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, and agave nectar to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a jalapeño slice.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño to control the level of spice.
- For a less spicy drink, remove the jalapeño seeds before muddling.
- You can use frozen pineapple for a thicker drink.
