Description
Simple rolled French toast filled with sweet Nutella spread.
Ingredients

- 8 slices sandwich bread
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- 2 tablespoons butter, for cooking
Instructions
- Trim the crusts from the bread slices.
- Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread thinly.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Spread about 1 teaspoon of Nutella evenly over the surface of each flattened bread slice.
- Roll each slice tightly starting from one end.
- Dip each rolled slice briefly into the egg mixture, turning to coat all sides.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the rollups seam-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
- Remove from skillet and serve immediately.
Notes
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving for extra sweetness.
- Serve with fresh berries on the side.
