Description
A sparkling and refreshing citrus sage champagne punch perfect for New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled Champagne or Prosecco
- 2 cups fresh orange juice
- 1 cup fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
- 1/2 cup water
- Fresh sage sprigs and citrus slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine honey or agave nectar and water. Heat gently until dissolved. Let cool.
- In a large punch bowl, combine orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and the cooled honey-water mixture.
- Add the chopped fresh sage to the juice mixture and stir well.
- Chill the juice mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow the sage flavor to infuse.
- Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled Champagne or Prosecco.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with fresh sage sprigs and citrus slices.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, substitute sparkling apple cider or white grape juice for the Champagne.
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less honey/agave.
- You can prepare the juice base a few hours in advance and refrigerate. Add the sparkling wine just before serving.
