Description

A simple recipe for a spicy and cheesy buffalo chicken melt sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Mix the shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce and softened cream cheese in a bowl until combined.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Divide the chicken mixture evenly over the two bread slices in the skillet.
  5. Top the chicken mixture with two slices of cheddar cheese on each sandwich.
  6. Place the remaining two slices of bread on top, butter-side up.
  7. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet and slice in half.
