Description
Warm and aromatic mulled wine, perfect for cold weather.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750ml) red wine
- 1 orange, sliced
- 8 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise
- 2–4 tablespoons honey or sugar (to taste)
- 1/2 cup brandy or rum (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warm. Do not boil.
- Simmer gently for at least 15-20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Strain the wine before serving, if desired.
- Serve warm in mugs or heatproof glasses.

- Adjust sweetness to your preference.
- Use your favorite red wine.
