A delicious Mexican pizza that combines the flavors of tacos in a convenient pizza format.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Place one tortilla on a baking sheet. Spread refried beans evenly over the tortilla.
- Spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture over the refried beans.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
- Top with salsa, black olives, tomatoes, and green onions.
- Place the second tortilla on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier pizza, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the ground beef mixture.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
- Serve with sour cream or guacamole for extra flavor.
