Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced smoked sausage and potatoes.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the ranch mixture over the sausage and potatoes. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top, and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the potatoes are tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.

Notes

  • You can use any type of smoked sausage you prefer.
  • Adjust the amount of milk if you prefer a thinner sauce.
  • For crispier potatoes, you can broil for the last few minutes of baking.
