- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into uniform pieces if using breasts.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, ginger, and pepper to make the sauce.
- Place the chicken in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning the chicken occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C).
- Serve immediately.

- Serve this dish over rice or with steamed vegetables.
- For a thicker sauce, let it simmer for an extra minute or two at the end.
