A refreshing and festive Harvest Moon Sangria perfect for autumn gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 bottle (750ml) red wine (such as Pinot Noir or Merlot)
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Star anise (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine red wine, apple cider, brandy, and orange liqueur in a large pitcher.
- Add sliced apple, pear, orange, and cinnamon stick to the pitcher.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve over ice.
- Garnish with star anise if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding a touch of maple syrup or simple syrup.
- You can use other seasonal fruits like cranberries or pomegranates.
- For a sparkling version, top with club soda or prosecco just before serving.
