Description

This Halloween Chilling Blackberry Mojito is a spooky and refreshing drink perfect for your Halloween party. The dark color from the blackberries gives it a chilling look, while the mint and lime keep it fresh and zesty.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1012 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 4 ounces club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Additional blackberries and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a muddler or a sturdy glass, muddle the blackberries, lime juice, simple syrup, and mint leaves until the blackberries are crushed and the mint is fragrant.
  2. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice, pressing down on the solids to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids.
  3. Pour in the white rum.
  4. Top with club soda.
  5. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Garnish with fresh blackberries and a sprig of mint.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add more club soda or sparkling water.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less simple syrup.
  • You can prepare the blackberry-lime-mint base ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
  • Use frozen blackberries for an extra chilling effect.
