Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, whole or halved
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Add the steak cubes to the marinade, toss to coat, and let it sit for 20 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Thread the steak, onion pieces, bell pepper pieces, and mushrooms onto the skewers, alternating ingredients.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  7. Place the kabobs on the hot grill.
  8. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, turning every 3 to 4 minutes, until the steak reaches your desired doneness.
  9. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
