Description
A simple recipe for grilled apple slices wrapped in prosciutto and drizzled with honey.
Ingredients

- 4 medium apples (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji)
- 8 thin slices prosciutto
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Slice the apples horizontally into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Remove the core from each slice.
- Brush both sides of the apple slices lightly with olive oil.
- Heat a grill or grill pan to medium heat.
- Grill the apple slices for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the apples soften slightly.
- Remove the apples from the grill.
- Wrap each warm apple slice with one slice of prosciutto.
- Arrange the wrapped apples on a serving plate.
- Drizzle the honey evenly over the prosciutto-wrapped apples.
- Sprinkle with a small pinch of salt.
- Serve immediately.

- Use firm apples that hold their shape well during grilling.
- You can substitute maple syrup for honey if desired.
