Description

Simple baked sliders featuring ham, cheese, and a savory-sweet glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves intact.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer the ham and Swiss cheese slices evenly over the bottom rolls. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, onion powder, and dried minced onion.
  6. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden brown.
  8. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing them individually and serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute cheddar or provolone cheese for Swiss cheese.
  • For extra flavor, add a thin layer of pickle relish on top of the ham before adding the cheese.
