Description

A refreshing lemonade infused with fresh garden herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup fresh herb sprigs (such as mint, basil, or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add herb sprigs. Let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Strain the herb-infused syrup into a pitcher. Discard the herbs.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
