Description
A refreshing lemonade infused with fresh garden herbs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup fresh herb sprigs (such as mint, basil, or rosemary)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add herb sprigs. Let steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the herb-infused syrup into a pitcher. Discard the herbs.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to your preference.
- Experiment with different herb combinations.
- Serve over ice with fresh herb sprigs and lemon slices.
