  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups sparkling water, chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine sliced strawberries, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Gently mash with a fork to release juices.
  2. In another small bowl, combine blueberries, remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Gently mash with a fork.
  3. Divide the mashed strawberries among four glasses.
  4. Carefully layer ice cubes over the strawberries in each glass.
  5. Add the mashed blueberries on top of the ice.
  6. Slowly pour chilled sparkling water into each glass.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a stronger berry flavor, let the mashed berries sit for 15-20 minutes before assembling.
