- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons blackened seasoning mix
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
Instructions
- Place chicken pieces in a bowl and toss with the blackened seasoning mix until fully coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken to the hot skillet in a single layer.
- Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a dark, seasoned crust.
- Warm the tortillas according to package directions (microwave or dry skillet).
- Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with blackened chicken, shredded lettuce, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream.
Notes
- You can make your own blackened seasoning using paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Serve with lime wedges for extra flavor.
