A simple recipe for making tender, seasoned shredded chicken.

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker or a large pot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika evenly over the chicken.
- Cook on low in a slow cooker for 4-6 hours, or simmer gently in a pot on the stove for about 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the liquid and shred it using two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the pot and mix it with some of the cooking liquid to keep it moist.
Notes
- You can use the cooking liquid as a base for sauces or soups.
- For faster cooking, use an Instant Pot on high pressure for 10 minutes, followed by a natural pressure release for 5 minutes.
