Description

A simple recipe for slow-cooked tortellini with steak and cheese flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound thinly sliced steak (like ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the tortellini, sliced steak, onion, and bell pepper in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the beef broth over the ingredients.
  3. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the steak is tender.
  5. Stir in the cubed cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Stir in the provolone cheese until melted.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute mozzarella cheese for provolone if desired.
  • If the sauce seems too thick, add a splash of milk or extra broth.
