  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Rub the mixture all over the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  5. Place the chicken in a roasting pan or on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh, avoiding the bone.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
