Description
Recipe for making crispy pork egg rolls using an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Water for sealing
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Add cabbage, carrots, green onions, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic powder to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center of an egg roll wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
- Fold the bottom edge over the filling, fold in the sides, and then roll tightly toward the top edge. Seal the final edge with water. Repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Lightly spray the egg rolls with cooking spray.
- Place the egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Serve immediately with your preferred dipping sauce.
- If the filling is too wet, the egg rolls may become soggy.
