Description

A simple recipe for baked brie topped with cranberry sauce, perfect as an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place the brie wheel in the center of a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. If using puff pastry, wrap the brie completely with the pastry, sealing the edges. If not using pastry, proceed to the next step.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the top of the brie.
  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cranberry sauce, if desired.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and the pastry (if used) is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Serve immediately with crackers or slices of baguette for dipping.
  • You can substitute homemade cranberry sauce for store-bought.
