Description
A refreshing, spiced sangria combining cranberry, apple cider, and orange flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, cored and sliced
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, orange juice, brandy, and orange liqueur.
- Add the sliced orange, sliced apple, cranberries, and cinnamon stick to the pitcher.
- If you prefer a sweeter drink, stir in the optional sugar until dissolved.
- Stir the mixture gently to combine all ingredients.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, remove the cinnamon stick. Serve the sangria over ice, making sure each glass gets some fruit.
Notes
- Use a crisp white wine like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc for the best flavor.
- If you do not have brandy, you can substitute it with an additional 1/4 cup of apple cider.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the wine and brandy, and use 3 cups of apple cider instead.
