Crispy french fries tossed with a savory crab seasoning blend.
Ingredients

- 2 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 4 cups vegetable oil for frying
- 1 tablespoon crab seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat them completely dry.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot to 325°F (160°C).
- Fry the potatoes in batches until they are pale and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the potatoes a second time until golden brown and crisp, about 2-4 minutes. Remove and drain well.
- Place the hot fries in a large bowl. Sprinkle immediately with the crab seasoning and salt. Toss gently to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, use a thermometer to monitor oil temperature.
- You can substitute air frying for deep frying; follow your air fryer’s instructions for cooking potatoes until crisp.
