Description
A classic Cointreau Margarita, a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and strong.
Ingredients

- 2 oz Tequila (Blanco)
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Agave Nectar (optional, to taste)
- Lime wedge for garnish
- Salt for rim (optional)
Instructions
- If desired, salt the rim of a margarita glass. Rub a lime wedge around the rim, then dip the rim into a shallow plate of salt.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar (if using) to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously until well-chilled, about 15-20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared margarita glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.

- Adjust the amount of agave nectar based on your preferred sweetness.
- For a frozen margarita, blend all ingredients with ice until smooth.
