- Lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions
- Place the chopped apples, celery, and walnuts in a large bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the apple and celery mixture.
- Gently toss all ingredients until the fruit and nuts are evenly coated.
- Chill the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve the salad on individual beds of lettuce leaves.
Notes
- For a lighter dressing, substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
