  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the vegan pie crust on a baking sheet.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted vegan butter, applesauce, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the pecan mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
