Ingredients

- 2 cups strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream for topping
- Extra caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Brew strong coffee and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and caramel sauce over medium heat until warm. Do not boil.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the warm milk mixture into the brewed coffee.
- Pour the coffee mixture into a mug.
- In a separate small saucepan or on a stovetop, sprinkle the granulated sugar in a thin layer. Heat until the sugar melts and caramelizes.
- Carefully pour the brûléed sugar over the top of the coffee to create a hardened crust.
- Top with whipped cream and drizzle with extra caramel sauce.
Notes
- For a dairy-free option, use your favorite non-dairy milk and whipped topping.
- Adjust the amount of caramel sauce to your sweetness preference.
- Be cautious when brûléeing the sugar as it will be very hot.
