Description
A straightforward recipe for a no-bake chocolate cake made with crushed biscuits.
Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g unsalted butter
- 50ml double cream
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 250g digestive biscuits, crushed
- 50g raisins or dried fruit (optional)
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch round cake tin with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate, butter, cream, and golden syrup together in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Remove the bowl from the heat.
- Stir the crushed digestive biscuits and raisins (if using) into the melted chocolate mixture until fully coated.
- Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared cake tin.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Remove from the tin, slice, and serve.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate.
- You can top the cake with a thin layer of melted chocolate before chilling.
