Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 large apple, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large lettuce leaves or whole wheat tortillas
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced apple, celery, and red onion.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and sugar.
- Pour the dressing mixture over the chicken and apple mixture. Stir gently until everything is coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
- Spoon the chicken salad mixture onto the lettuce leaves or tortillas.
- Wrap tightly and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
- You can toast the tortillas lightly before filling them for added texture.
