Description
A refreshing and bubbly lemon and mint spritzer.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly muddled
- 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, and muddled mint leaves.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the lemon-mint mixture over the ice, filling each glass about one-third full.
- Top off each glass with sparkling water or club soda.
- Garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of simple syrup to your desired sweetness.
- For a stronger mint flavor, steep the muddled mint in the simple syrup while it cools.
