- 1 tablespoon black sesame paste
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1–2 teaspoons sugar or sweetener, to taste
- 1 shot espresso (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- If using espresso, brew one shot.
- In a saucepan, combine soy milk, black sesame paste, sugar or sweetener, and a pinch of salt.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly until well combined and heated through. Do not boil.
- If using espresso, pour the heated mixture into a mug and add the espresso shot. Stir well.
- Pour into a mug and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, toast the black sesame seeds before grinding them into a paste.
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
- You can froth the soy milk for a latte-like texture.
